SMS Terms

Newmar Brokerage, LLC sends text messages to people who ask for them. The messages come from the real estate professional with whom you are working, and concern properties, tours and deals.

What this program is not. We do not run generic marketing campaigns by text.

You will not receive a blast sent to everyone on a list. A text reaches you because the real estate professional with whom you have a relationship judged that this particular property, or this particular piece of news, would interest you specifically.

If you have no relationship with a real estate professional here, you will not be texted at all.

If that real estate professional leaves the firm, we will not simply hand your number to somebody else and carry on — we will ask you first.

We do not text anyone who has not opted in, and we never make consent a condition of doing business with us.

You can opt in on this website, or by telling a real estate professional here in writing that you would like to hear from us by text; you may authorize by initiating a communication via text message or by executing a brokerage representation agreement that expressly authorizes text message communication. If you have opted out before and want to start again, reply START to any message from us.

Message frequency varies. We text when there is something to say about a property or a deal you are working on, not on a schedule.

Message and data rates may apply. Newmar Brokerage, LLC does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier may.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will get one confirmation message and then nothing further.

STOP, HELP and START are the words our system recognizes automatically, but they are not the only way to stop hearing from us. You can tell us to stop by any reasonable means — replying with different words, emailing hello@newmarbrokerage.comhello@newmarbrokerage.com, or telling the real estate professional with whom you are working or our office on the phone. However you tell us, we will act on it, and we will do so no later than ten business days after we receive it.

If you reply to stop a message about a property we are marketing to you, we stop marketing to you and may still contact you about a transaction you are actively working on with us. If you reply to stop a message about your own active transaction, we stop everything.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or lease, or of working with Newmar Brokerage, LLC. You can work with us without opting in, and opting out later changes nothing about your deal.

We use the phone number you give us to send and receive these messages, and for nothing else. Note, it remains possible that we give you a good old-fashioned phone call to hear your voice, but the point is that we don’t try to monetize your phone number as a piece of data.

We do not sell it. We do not rent it, trade it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing. If this business is sold, merged or reorganized, your number would transfer with the business to the buyer or successor — bound by these terms as they stood when you opted in, until you are told otherwise.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to agents or subcontractors in support services, such as property management, leasing, or customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
